Malaysia Airlines (MAS) believes that the travelling companions essential to an unforgettable journey are not just your friends, but also your airline.
As many unforgettable journeys begin online, MAS relaunched its YouTube channel by developing more socially relevant, customisable travel content for its travellers that put their journeys at its heart. The channel included branded video content, a live feed of passenger feedback, travelers’ stories and a media-rich itinerary planner.
The MAS YouTube channel was recognised by the Campaign Asia-Pacific recognised the as one of three best effective use of YouTube across the region in 2013.

MAS invited travellers to build their dream airline together by suggesting how their travel experience could be improved.
By taking into account their feedback, MAS came to a better understanding of its customers' needs.


MAS celebrated the amazing journeys of its customers through a platform where they could upload videos of
their trips and share them with fellow travellers.


MAS enabled travellers to explore the best of Kuala Lumpur and personalize their journey through an interactive map.
By clicking on hotspots on the map, travellers could add them to their personalized itinerary, and share it with their travelling companions via social media or email.


MAS kept travellers up to date with its own journey to provide the ultimate experience in the skies
with a curated playlist showcasing their stories.
